Advanced registered nursing graduates are entering the profession at dynamic time when roles and scope of practice are shifting based on developments in legislation and policy in response to the evolving needs of the health care system Professional nursing organizations play an impo1tant role in making sure the perspectives of advanced registered nurses are heard, and in supporting nurse specialties in their effo1ts to expand their scope of practice and their full pa1ticipation throughout the health care system.
For this assignment, you will conduct research on the current scope of practice for your specialty and efforts that are being made to expand that scope and the role of the advanced nm-se in positively influencing the health care system. Write a 1,250-1 ,500-word paper that includes the following:
- A discussion of the scope of your future role as an advanced registered nurse , including any regulatory, certification , or accreditation agencies that define that scope .
2. A discussion of three professional nm-sing organizations that you think are most influential in advancing the scope and influence of advanced nursing. Of these organizations, evaluate the one that you would most like to join. How do its goals and mission fit in with your worldview and philosophy of care? How might membership in this organization improve your practice?
3. A discussion of a controve1-sial or evolving issue that is most likely to affect your scope of practice or role in the next few years. How do you think this issue could influence the profession and other stakeholde1-s, and why does it matters to the advanced registered nurse?

If someone has peace within their lives, that is a blessing. I am glad this question was brought up because considering the times we currently live in, many people are losing their souls, especially nurses. Do I feel like I am losing my soul? No, but I think it may not be long before that occurs. The stress we deal with on a daily basis is alarming. The patients are becoming increasingly demanding as well as the staff physicians. The physicians in the operating room treat some of the nurses with such disrespect that it is becoming a nuisance and very hard to deal with. Operating room nurses are under such stress that many are leaving the nursing field. Most nurses change specialties, but I have been in one specialty since the beginning of my nursing career. I love working in the operating room. Nursing has always been my passion, and I would hate for my decision to leave to be influenced by physicians, when I am here for the patients. Many nurses are also obsessed with making a lot of money. During the pandemic, nurses were making what most physicians make or more. The scripture at Mark 3:36 is a perfect example of nurses gaining profit but losing their soul. The money was great but working 60-72 hours a week for months at a time is crushing to the soul. A good work-life balance is optimal for everyone.
