Discussion: Are the five components of a process really necessary?
Based on the your personal knowledge and what you have read, build a brief case to defend why a process requires or does not require any part of the 5 components (input, resources, constraints, activities, and output).
Can you think of any instance of an organizational process without one of the above?
You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes.
Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages.
Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.
The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument.
Several events contribute to persistent shortages of nurses. An aging population is one of the major contributing factors. The aging people are prone to falling ill of chronic diseases like high blood pressure, heart diseases, arthritis, and diabetes. These diseases call for hospice and palliative care from nursing professionals. However, the available nursing staff cannot quench the demand from the aged increasing population (Marc et al., 2019). Therefore, you find the need to supersedes the supply chain of nursing services. Such cases expose the nursing shortage issue in medical facilities. Additionally, when the demand is higher than the supply chain, nursing staff burnout occurs. In such cases, the available nursing staff overworks themselves to meet the requirements of the arising patients’ cases. In turn, the tired workforce offers unsatisfactory services to patients, and also, the staff is affected emotionally and find no satisfaction working when emotionally drained (Marc et al., 2019). Therefore, some opt to resign for other professions, and others pursue personal businesses. The workforce that leaves creates a massive deficit in the nursing profession.

Moreover, poor leadership in healthcare facilities has massively contributed to nursing shortages. Medical Facilities which do not have adequate communication channels and information framework tend to exclude the staff in decision making, which makes the workforce feel less involved in the organization partaking. As per policy, no assignments are accepted after the last day of class. Any assignment submitted after midnight on the last day of class will not be accepted for grading.
