Question Description
INTRODUCTION
Terrorism is changing. The motives may remain relatively stable, but tactics and objectives evolve. As terrorists attempt attacks and are thwarted or are successful, they learn new ways to perpetrate their attacks. These attacks can be physical (bombing, shooting, kidnapping, et cetera) or technology-related (cyber-attacks, online scams, viruses, encryption, et cetera). Identifying the types and understanding adequate responses is important for people in all levels of law enforcement. In this discussion, you will identify some of these changes and how law enforcement needs to respond to it.
As the captain of your local police municipality, suppose your chief wants to know where terrorism is heading in the future. Specifically, what types of attacks are likely, and what are some solutions to identify, prevent, and respond to those attacks? He has asked you for a brief summary of the following, based on research.
For your initial discussion post:
Summarize one technological trend and one non-technology related tactic that scholars think international terrorism will utilize in the future.
Explain a U.S. law enforcement response to one of each of the technological trends and non-technological tactics that scholars think international terrorism will use in the future.
Determine how each of the identified responses will mitigate the threat posed by these future technological trends and non-technological tactics.

You must proofread your paper. The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument.

Student capability needs to be increased in order to combat the nursing shortage and train more skilled RNs. Nursing schools are forming strategic alliances to secure private funding and financing to facilitate this process. The University of Minnesota collaborated with the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in 2013, for instance. With a $5.3 million grant from the VA, the university introduced an emphasis on improving veteran treatment into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum, which then enabled the University of Minnesota to increase program enrollment.
- Statewide initiatives
Both RN and nurse instructor positions are expected to be impacted by the nursing shortage. Many states have adopted programs in response to these predictions to help inspire people to seek jobs in the industry. The University of Wisconsin, for example, launched the $3.2 million Nurses for Wisconsin initiative in 2014 to provide fellowships and loan forgiveness to future nursing faculty who agreed to teach after graduation.1 Although the goals of the initiative may vary depending on individual state needs, each is intended in some way to address and counteract the nursing shortage.

Another popular approach used to solve the nursing shortage is essential to increase awareness of this healthcare problem. Organizations such as the AACN work to gain recognition and encourage employment in nursing with politicians, colleges, and the public. The project of Johnson & Johnson, the Movement for the Future of Nursing, has been trying since 2002 to promote the reputation of nursing and raise interest in performing crucial positions in the profession. A website, recruiting film, and television advertising, among other media, are included in this multimedia initiative.

The university’s policy on late assignments is 10% penalty PER DAY LATE. This also applies to late DQ replies.
Please communicate with me if you anticipate having to submit an assignment late. I am happy to be flexible, with advance notice. We may be able to work out an extension based on extenuating circumstances.
If you do not communicate with me before submitting an assignment late, the GCU late policy will be in effect.
I do not accept assignments that are two or more weeks late unless we have worked out an extension.
As per policy, no assignments are accepted after the last day of class. Any assignment submitted after midnight on the last day of class will not be accepted for grading.
